Some interesting stuff I found out through project research

So, some of you may know that I’m doing a project on the Darren Criss fandom. Because of this, I’ve done a LOT of research into the Glee fandom as well. Today I was going through fanfiction.net statistics, and I wanted to share:

Glee is the 19th most popular ff.net fandom

With a growth rate of about 130 stories/day over the last month, it is the 2nd fastest growing fandom on ff.net (Harry Potter is first with around 182 stories/day)

Blaine has only been on the show for about 2/3 of a season, but he has the 4th highest story count of any glee character (behind Rachel, Kurt and Puck).

Blaine has the highest number of stories/day BY FAR out of the glee characters with an average of 24 stories/day. Rachel, who has the most stories in general, only has an average of about 15 (this was calculated by # of stories/# of days since first ff.net story was published).

….you guys, that’s REALLY. FUCKING. IMPRESSIVE. 24 stories/day? That’s about the same as Hermione Granger (I calculated hers and it was about 27/day on average). This fandom gets shit done.
