Here is how the Mercedes story line for the prom episode went for me

When Mercedes was hoping and wishing to go to prom with a boy and have her tell her she’s beautiful. And she knew it wasn’t going to happen.

This was me

Then she got Sam to go to prom with her and then I couldn’t relate

She was sitting by herself at prom, not dancing with a boy. Then I could relate again

Then Sam came up to her and told her she was beautiful and asked her if she wanted to dance. And I couldn’t relate again.

01x20: Theatricality

This scene broke me when I first watched it. I don’t know why I’m watching this now. I guess I just needed to recap on everything now that season 2 is almost over.

From Finn’s rage to Kurt’s hurtful look on his face to Burt rushing down to defend his son, his family, to Kurt’s tears, it broke me. Everything about this episode is just emotional and really addresses the issue of the ignorant attitude of the offensive terms, “That’s so gay” and “Fag” and “That’s so retarded.” Returning to the scene, if you’re not familiar, here’s what happened after Finn insulted the blanket and Kurt and Burt rushed downstairs:

Burt Hummel: Hey! What did you just call him?

Finn Hudson: Oh, no, I didn’t call him anything. I was just talking to the blanket.

Burt Hummel: You use that word, you’re talking about him.

Kurt Hummel: Relax, dad, I didn’t take it that way.

Burt Hummel: Yeah, that’s because you’re 16 and you still assume the best in people. You live a few years, you start seeing the hate in people’s hearts. Even the best people.

Burt Hummel: You use the N word?

Finn Hudson: Of course not.

Burt Hummel: How about “retard”? You call that nice girl on the Cheerios with Kurt, you call her a retard?

Burt Hummel: I know what you meant! What, you think I didn’t use that word when I was your age? You know, some kid gets clocked in practice we tell him to stop being such a fag, shake it off. We meant it exactly the way you meant it. That being gay is wrong. That’s some kind of punishable offense. I really thought you were different, Finn. You know, I thought that being in Glee Club, and being raised by your mom, meant that you were some, you know, new generation of dude who saw things differently. Who just kinda, you know, came into the world knowing what it’s taken me years of struggling to figure out. I guess I was wrong. I’m sorry Finn, but you can’t, you can’t stay here.

Kurt Hummel: Dad.

Burt Hummel: I love your mom and maybe this is gonna cost me her, but my family comes first. I can’t have that kind of poison around.

[turns to Kurt]

Burt Hummel: This is our home, Kurt.

[turns back to Finn]

Burt Hummel: He is my son. Out in the world you do what you want; not under my roof.

So, what I’m getting at is that maybe you should rethink the next time you decide to say “Gay”, “Retard”, even “Nigger”, in the insulting way you usually go about. And to those who do refrain from using these offensive terms, thank you. And thanks for reading.

Gerard admits in an interview that he had spent the night with Shakira on the first floor, room 15 (in the hotel). He is quoted to say that “it smelt like danger, even better” and also later on that it “feels like heaven”.

They all met in an orphanage—they were all 14, small, weak, but in the awkward stage where no one wanted to adopt them. They were all the trouble makers and, therefore, looked down upon.

Noah Puckerman took it upon himself to form his little group of trouble makers and make them into something more - just bad people. After a while of what he called ‘training’, he realized their options were limited in the orphanage and decided to escape the place and go on the run, with only one rule—they only look out for each other.

They’ve managed to remain incognito for a while: stealing things from rich houses, bribing people, gambling—they’re the best at what they do. Each and every orphan in the group has a helpful skill that in the long run always comes in handy when doing the deed.

After four years on the run and still never being caught, the group of teenagers - dubbed ‘The Bad’ - find themselves in Lima, Ohio, a quiet, small town where all the people are, well, good. The town is polite and charming, and not one bad thing happens there. So when they do start happening? Well, there’s only one way to look to.

Missions to woo, take down, steal, and screw over multiple teenagers in that town have been assigned—but what happens when feelings start to get in between? Jealousy, friendships, and bad things start happening to good people to which they have no one to blame but themselves.

With the arrival of The Bads? Lima will never be the same.

And it also reminds me of that SOUL DESTROYING video which is truly soul shattering. Every time I see it, I wince because I can feel my heart breaking slightly. Like, the Nadal phase has passed slightly but the video brings it all back.

And it also reminds me of being on the minibus which barely fit on the narrow roads of the Albaicin and I said “I wish I was Shakira” and Sarah said “I wish I was Nadal”.

Welcome to My World

So last night, one of my dreams came true. I got to see Justin Bieber perform live. I got to hear him sing, see him dance, and watch him stand there with his awesome talents and bonus good looks. Haha.

At first, I thought I won’t be able to watch his concert. I would be so heart broken if that really happened.

So Poreotics, ABDC Season 5(?) winner, opened for him. Three out the six members are Filipinos. They taught us the Cat Daddy and the Dougie. They showed their awesome moves too.

Then DJ Tay James showed up to get the crowd pumping and there was a 15-minute countdown.

Justin opened with his badass Love Me. I can’t remember the sequence of the songs but he also sang That Should Be Me, Favorite Girl, Bigger, Never Let You Go, One Time, Eenie Meenie, U Smile, Never Say Never, Pray, Somebody To Love, and Runaway Love.

Of course, he sang Ollg but rumors are spreading that the chosen Ollg is the daughter of the owner of Smart Telecommunications, the major sponsor of the concert. That’s a bummer. Ate Kara was crying the whole song.

His surprises for us were singing I’ll Be and a Michael Jackson song. He showed off his guitar skills, drumming skills, and dance moves too. Legaci, his back-up singers sang too. They were amazing and they’re Filipinos! Poreotics came out again and danced with his back-up dancers.

We were all shocked when he unexpectedly said goodnight. The crowd cheered, “We want more”. And on the LCD screen, the words “Do you want more?” came out. We all screamed, yes! “Really?” “Then make some noise” “Louder!!” He came out and asked us what song did we want him to sing and we shouted “Baby”. Then he sang Rock-a-bye Baby. Aw, so cute! Then Baby One More Time then There Goes My Baby. Then he finally sang his song Baby. But he stopped and said, “Hey, this is the last song. I don’t see you jumping up and down”. “Either you guys go crazy or I’m gonna just leave”. We screamed at the top of our lungs and he continued the song with the rap. He finally said goodnight, waved at us, and left. On the LCD screen, “Thank you and Goodnight. Love, Justin” showed up.

Justin Bieber was sick that night and I admire him for not putting us down. He went on with the show even if he was not feeling well. You can tell by his eyes and his voice that he was sick. And I feel sorry for him because the people sitting right in front of him looked like they weren’t paying any attention to him at all.

Thank you Justin for making my dream come true. Get well soon, please. I love you. *hands down*

After junior prom finished, the spicy latina, left with her beard. The moment she had shared with her beautiful blonde Brittany, had left Santana thinking. ‘I voted for you.’ The words flew around her head in the car on the way home. David was dropping her at her place, and nudged her arm. “Okay San, we’re here.” He said softly. She came too quickly, and turned to him with a nod. “Thanks, Karofsky, I’ll see you on Monday.” She mumbled, forcing a quick plain smile, before hurrying up ther stairs to her porch. She turned and waved at the man driving. He waved back, and headed home. Santana took a deep breath, and opened the door. Her father sitting on the lounge turned toward his beautiful daughter. “Hey honey.” He spoke. “How was prom?” He asked looking his daughter square in the face. Santana forced a smile once more. “It was amazing. I’m tired, I’m go get changed and go to bed. Night, Dad.” She said, and quickly bolted up the stairs before he could get another word in. She pulled off her scarlet dress and hung it in her closet, pulling out a simple night gown. It stopped mid-thigh. She yawned, taking her hair out, she let the locks fall down her back, before slipping into her perfectly made double bed. She looked out the window. Santana’s night had been dramatic to say the least.

A soft sigh escaped her lips, as she rolled facing the dark once more, the scene of Her and Brit-Brits moment at prom was playing over, and over in her head. She felt a tear roll down her cheek. Why was she such a coward? She closed her eyes, entering the world of sleep.

The soft touch or Brittany’s hand on Santana’s cheek made her heart race. The other hand was pulling the latina in closer to the blondes body. She started to say something but no sound was coming out. Soon she felt the soft lips of the blonde on her own. The feel was such an enticement to Santana, a tingle ran through her body and she felt her core pulsating throughout her body, she ran a hand down the blonde’s side. Brittany’s tongue ran against San’s lip, prodding for entry, without hesitation, Santana allowed it, feeling the warmth of Brittany’s tongue slide against her own, made her heart beat faster. Suddenly a noise, an annoying noise at that, started going off. She rolled over and turned her alarm off, and sat up. It was just a dream. Just a dream.

For the sake of their survival, a relatively young group of vampires have joined together in the woods far away from civilization and have formed a system of kidnapping a group of humans every few months to satisfy their thirst and to do whatever else they please with them.

Vampires are unharmed by the light and possess unnatural power. They have super speed, strength, and senses; their entire being is designed to hunt and kill their prey, humans. Each vampire holds a unique power, specific to only themselves and those powers could be passive or destructive.

Physically, they resemble humans, however their ghostly pale skin naturally sets them apart from their prey. They have the natural ability to charm other living beings and tend to use that to their advantage. They are also able to use a slight mind-control that can erase the memories of humans. It’s hard to tell if love with a vampire is truly love or just their ability.

Vampires live off the blood of living humans, though they are very much alive themselves. Vampires age at only one tenth the rate of humans and although fertility is rare to come across, is still possible. They are usually independent but in groups, the most powerful would earn the greatest respect.

Our group of humans, during a camping trip, had found themselves knocked out and now trapped in the vampire mansion. Scared for their lives and with no way of escape, they have to slowly learn how to adapt to their kidnapper’s, rather painful, ways. Will they survive?
